transformation ?
Watched the complete cricket match ball by ball, collected nearly 10 DVD’s ( 3 movies in 1) from a road side shop of 50 each, some hours on snooker and downloaded some trekking forms…
Post placement all these things are happening… jus wondering what I might be doing if I am yet to get placed. Sure will not be that tough. I am confident that I learned how to crack an interview. Mantra is very simple “Have it simple”. We need to understand the fact that companies are here to pick people who will fit in their requirements. If we are a complex creature, making them to think too much, might create problems…
Okiee… that’s apart. From the collected DVD’s watched the first movie ‘Saving Private Ryan’. Excellent one. It really invoked lot of questions in the mind. How Project Management techniques can be applied in war fields where communication is big problem and most importantly when life are at stakes. If I would have watched this movie say a year back, these thoughts would have never raised in my mind. Is that I should call it a transformation ?…

You may also want to check out “Band of Brothers” set of DVDs. It follows a company of soldiers (E conpany ) that takes part in all the major battles of WW2 (normandy, holland, battle of the bulge etc).
Major Winters displays great leadership skills. Pretty good set.
